​Relief Crochet Tunic with Open Shoulders

You’ll need:

450 (500) 550g of mélange beige Fragola yarn (70% cotton, 30% polyamide; 110m/50g);

Crochet hook 4.

Size: S (M)L.

Used Patterns

Main pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 6 + 1 + 1 chain st increase. Work due to the scheme (arrow A). Start with sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat.

Fringe: due to the scheme (arrow B). Make 1^st-3^rd rows x once, then, repeat 2^nd-3^rd rows.

Stitches control: 20 sts x 10 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back

Make 85 (97) 109 chain sts + 1 chain st increase and work with the main pattern, make 1^st-4^th rows x once, then, repeat 3^rd and 4^th rows. In 33 cm from the set-up row, make 5^th-7^th rows x once, then, repeat 6^th-7^th rows. In 45 (46) 47 cm from the set-up row, decrease ½ pattern repeat for raglan chamfers, 4 (5) 6 x ½ pattern repeat in every row. In 51 (53) 55 cm from the set-up row, finish your work.

Front

Make in the same way, as back, but with deeper neck-hole. For this, in 47 (49) 51 cm from the set-up row, leave the central 2 pattern repeats + 1 st and leave 4 x ½ pattern repeat in every row from inwards for smooth rounding. Make straps on the rest sts for 28 (29) 30 cm due to the pattern and finish your work.

Sleeves

Make 59 chain sts + 1 chain st increase and work in the following way: 25 sts of the main pattern, 4 double crochets, 1 chain st above 1 st, 4 double crochets, 25 sts of the main pattern. Make 1^st-4^th rows x once in the main pattern, then, repeat 3^rd-4^th rows. For sleeve chamfers, increase 3 (5) 7 x ½ pattern repeat from both sides during the next 42 (40) 40 cm. In 42 (40) 40 cm from the set-up row, make 5^th-7^th rows x once, then, make 1 pattern repeat on the central 9 sts. At the same time, in 42 (40) 40 cm from the set-up row, make raglan chamfers in the same way, as for back. In 48 (47) 48 cm from the set-up row, finish your work.

Assembly

Make raglan, side and sleeve seams. Make 10 cm of fringe along the lower edge of tunic. Sew straps.
