At the same time from the set-up row, leave * 1 x 2 sts and 1 x 3 sts in every 2nd row from both sides*; repeat from * to * x 25 times. Finish your work with the 5th row of the main pattern after the last decrease (in 62,5 cm = 53 rows from the set-up row) and make arch of 5 chain sts in the last row.

Assembly

Fasten all the edges of wrap with lace pattern, make 142 single crochets and make 5 single crochets in the arch of chain sts = 289 sts.

hello, just wondering what does  (leave 1×2 & 1×3 means)

Does it mean to increase or to just leave the stiches not crochet?

Thanks, sorry about not understanding how it is written.

Merci beaucoup!
