Yarn needle.


Wrap measures 20” x 60”.

GAUGE: 7 dc = 7”; 3 rows = 4” in pattern.

Ch 33.

Row 1 (Right Side): Dc in 4th ch from hook and in each

ch across; turn – 31 sts.

Row 2: Ch 1, sc in first dc, * ch 6, skip next 5 dc, sc in next

dc; repeat from * across working last sc in top of turning

ch; turn.

Row 3: Ch 1, sc in sc, * (sc, hdc, 5 dc, hdc, sc) all in ch-6

loop – shell made; repeat from * to last sc; sc in last sc;

turn – 5 shells.

Row 4: Ch 5 (counts as 1 dc and ch 2), skip first 5 sts,

sc in 3rd dc of shell, * ch 5, skip next 8 sts, sc in next dc;

repeat from * to last 5 sts; ch 2, skip next 4 sts, dc in last

sc; turn.

Row 5: Ch 3 (counts as dc), 3 dc in ch-2 space, * 6 dc in

ch-5 space; repeat from * to last ch-2 space; 2 dc in ch-2

space, dc in 3rd ch of ch-5; turn – 31 sts.

Row 6: Ch 3, dc in next dc, * ch 1, skip next dc, dc in next

2 dc; repeat from * to last 2 sts, ch 1, skip next dc, dc in

top of ch-3; turn – 31 sts.

Row 7: Ch 3, * dc in ch-1 space, dc in next 2 dc; repeat

from * across working last dc in top of ch-3; turn.

Repeat Rows 2-7 seven more times, and then repeat

Rows 2-5 once more. Do not turn at end of last row, but ch

1 and work a round of sc all around the shawl, working 2

sc in each outer corner; join with a slip st in first sc. Fasten

off. Weave in ends.
