​Knit Bodysuit with Open Shoulders

You’ll need:

300g of elastic mélange or fancy yarn in blue color (100% polyamide; 230m/50g);

Circle knitting needles 2,5;

Knitting needles 7;

Crochet hook 4;

2 pads;

String thread.

Size: M-L.

Used Patterns

Stockinette stitch;

Fastening: 1 singlecrochetand 3 chainstsbyturn.

Stitches control: stockinette stitch, knitting needles 2,5: 20 sts х 30 rows = 10 х 10 cm;

stockinette stitch, knitting needles 7: 15 sts х 20 rows = 10 х 10 cm.

Instructions

Make pattern design in natural size.

Start with upper front part. Cast on 64 sts with knitting needles 2,5 and work with stockinette stitch. For widening, increase 1 st x 14 in every 2^nd row from both sides. After making 30 rows from the set-up row, decrease 22 x 1 st in every 2^nd row from both sides (= 48 sts), then, increase 10 x 1 st in every 2^nd row from both sides (= 68 sts) and decrease 1 x 5 sts, 1 x 3 sts and 22 x 1 st in every 2^nd row from both sides. Make 4 straight rows on the rest 8 sts and then, increase 2 x 2 sts in every 2^nd row from both sides, 18 x 1 st, 1 x 2 sts, 2 x 3 sts (= 68 sts), then, decrease 10 x 1 st in every 2^nd row (= 48 sts). Then, increase 10 x 1 stinevery 4^throw.

At the same time, after making 14 rows from the beginning of the last increased st, bind off the central 18 sts and finish both parts separately, decrease 1 x 5 sts, 2 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts and 10 x 1 st in every 2^nd row from inwards. Bind off the rest sts.

Collar

Make collar separately. Cast on 30 sts with knitting needles 7 and work with stockinette stitch. For widening, increase 3 x 10 sts in every 10^th row. Then, knit 160 rows straight and decrease 3 x 10 sts in every 10^th row.

After making 220 rows from the beginning of work, bind off all the sts.

Assembly

Connect the side seams in B points.

Fasten the edges of bodysuit due to the description above. Sew the collar to the upper edge of front, connect points A. Sew the pads.
