Knit Blue Jacket
You’ll need:
10/11/12/13 skeins of Bouton d’Or Mango yarn (50% cotton, 50% viscose; 110m/50g) in blue-green yarn (1091);
Knitting needles 3 and 3,5;
8 buttons.
Size: S (P1), M (P2), L (P3), XL (P4).
Used Patterns
Increase: lift the horizontal yarn between 2 sts and make it as cross knit st.
Cross 6 knit sts to the left: transfer 3 sts to the auxiliary needle in front of work, 3 knit sts, 3 knit sts from the auxiliary needle;
Cross 6 knit sts to the right: transfer 3 sts to the auxiliary needle behind work, 3 knit sts, 3 knit sts from the auxiliary needle;
Stitches control: 29 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Back, Front and Sleeves
Work due to the schemes. Make fancy pattern with knitting needles 3, then, change to knitting needles 3,5.
Assembly
Make shoulder seams. Cast on 38 sts from A to B along right front neck-hole and 42 sts along from C to D along back neck-hole, 38 sts from B to A along left front neck-hole and make fancy placket due to the scheme. Cast on 126/134/142/142 sts with knitting needles 3 along the central edges of front from E to A and make fancy placket, make button-holes on right front in the 7th row. Make side and sleeves seams, sew up the sleeves. Sew buttons.
