Blue Knit Pullover

You’ll need:

450g of blue NISAN SEDEF yarn (92% viscose, 8% lurex);

Knitting needles 3;

Crochet hook 2.

Size: L-XL.

Used Patterns

Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls;

Relief pattern: * yarn over, knit2tog*; repeat from * to * to the end of row;

2 x 2 rib.

Stitches control: 17 sts x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 110 sts, make 2 cm of stockinette stitch, then, make relief row, 2 rows of stockinette stitch, relief row, 2 cm of stockinette stitch and 2 relief rows. Then, knit with stockinette stitch straight. At 46 cm height, bind off 1 x 5 sts for arm-holes from both sides and then 12 x 1 st in every 2nd row from both sides (make decreases, stepping back 3 sts from the edge). At 25 cm height of the arm-hole, bind off the rest sts.

Front

Make in the same way, as back to the arm-hole. At the same time with the beginning of arm-holes, divide your work in half and then finish each part separately, bind off 1 st from inwards in every RS row. Make arm-hole in the same way, as for back. Bind off the rest sts of shoulder at 25 cm height. Finish the second part of neck-hole in symmetry to the first one.

Sleeves

Cast on 64 sts along the arm-hole and work with stockinette stitch, make relief row in every 3 cm. For sleeve widening, increase 12 x 1 st and 1 x 5 sts from both sides in every RS row (making increases, stepping back 3 sts from the edge). Then, knit, making decreases of 1 st from both sides in every 8th row. After that, make knit2tog and make 4 cm of 2 x 2 rib, bind off the sts.

Assembly

Fasten the lower edge and neck-hole line with “shrimp stitch” with the help of the crochet hook.

Been knitting for fifty years now and I have never come across a pattern written like this. Very confusing. No idea what a number three needle is. Don't know what country has patterns written like this but not UK friendly.
