​Blue Zigzags Knit Top

You’ll need:

200g of Sandnes Garn LINE yarn (53% cotton, 33% viscose, 14% linen);

Knitting needles 4.

Size: S-M.

Stitches control: 19 sts × 25 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Cast on 192 sts with knitting needles 4 and knit 6 rows of garter stitch around. Place markers on the side seams, continue work around with the main pattern, making decreases (knit2tog) in every 6^th row. Make 12 decreases from each side = 168 sts.

At 37 cm height, divide your work in half. Continue work with front and back separately (84 sts for each part).

Back

Work with straight and reversed rows. Make decreases for arm-holes from both sides in every 2^nd row: 5 sts, 3 sts, 2 sts, 1 st, 1 st, 1 st = 58 sts. Then, knit straight due to the pattern. At 12 cm height from the arm-hole, bind off the central 20 sts for the neck-hole, then, bind off 5 sts, 3 sts, 2 sts, 1 st, 1 st in every 2^nd row. At 19 cm height from the arm-hole, bind off 7 sts for straps.

Front

Make arm-holes in the same way, as for back. Make V-shape neck-hole, make decreases before the last 2 sts in every 2^nd row for the neck-hole.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams.
