You’ll need:
200 (250) 300g of light-blue yarn (60% cotton, 40% polyamide; 105m/50g);
Knitting needles 6;
Crochet hook 5.
Size: S (M) L.
Used Patterns
Stockinette stitch: in RS rows – knit sts, in WS rows – purls;
Wrong-side pattern: in RS rows – purls, in WS rows – knit sts;
Rib: 1 st of stockinette stitch, 2 sts of wrong-side pattern;
Relief cable (37 sts wide): due to the scheme, on which only RS rows are stated, make WS rows due to the ornament, yarn overs – as purls. Repeat 1st-12th rows.
Stitches control: 18,5 sts x 25,5 rows = 10 х 10 cm.
Instructions
Start with the middle of back, cast on 58 (60) 62 sts and work in the following way: 1 selvedge st, 19 (21) 23 sts of rib, 37 sts of relief cable, 1 selvedge st.
In 80 cm = 204 rows (84 cm = 216 rows) 90 cm = 228 rows from the set-up row, bind off the sts.
Straps
Make 2.
Cast on 15 sts and work due to the scheme from arrow A-B between selvedge sts.
In 30 (32) 34 cm from the set-up row, bind off all the sts.
Assembly
Make the central seam on back.
Fasten the upper edge of top with 1 row of single crochets. Sew the straps to the upper edge of the top, step 6 cm from the side edge.
