Stitches control: 21 sts x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Loops for Buttons

Make on the right front part. For making loop, knit the 3rd and 4th sts together, then make 1 yarn over. Place loops with the following intervals:

Size S-M: 8; 14; 20; 26; 32; 38; 44; 50 cm;

Size L-XL: 8; 14; 21; 27; 33; 40; 46; 52 cm;

Size XXL-XXXL: 8; 15; 21; 28; 34; 41; 48; 54 cm.

Main Detail

Cast on 253; 308; 359 sts. Front plackets sts – 6 sts for each half of front – are included into this quantity of sts. Continue: 6 sts of garter stitch, * 17 sts – due to the scheme M1, 15; 14; 13 purls*; repeat from * to * x 7; 9; 11 times – see the scheme M1, 6 sts of garter stitch for the placket.

Knit straight due to the ornament. In 3; 4,5; 7 cm decrease 1 st in all the stripes of purls and repeat these decreases in every 6th row x 14; 13; 12 times. At the same time, at 8 cm height, start making loops for buttons. After making all the decreases, the height of your detail is 31 cm.

There are 155; 191; 227 sts in work. Knit straight to 34; 35; 36 cm. Start making increases in the next right-side row – increase 1 st in all the stripes of purls. Repeat these actions in the 6th row x 6; 5; 4 times. After 48; 49; 50 cm divide your work into parts: make 47; 56; 64 sts of the right front, bind off 7; 9; 11 sts for the arm-hole and knit 89; 106; 121 sts of back, bind off the sts for the second arm-hole, finish the sts for the second half of front.

Left Front

Bind off the initial sts in even rows for arm-holes: 2 sts x 2; 2; 4 times, 1 st x 4; 5; 6 times. At the same time, at 51; 53; 55 cm height form the bottom, transfer 10 sts to the auxiliary needle for neck-hole and make decreases – 2 sts x 1, 1 st x 2. Totally, 25; 33; 36 sts. At 67; 70; 73 cm bind off all the sts.

Right Front

Make in reflection to the left front.

Back

Make decreases for arm-holes due to the description of front. In 65; 68; 72 cm bind off the central 23; 22; 21 sts. Finish each part separately. At 67; 70; 73 cm, bind off the sts.

Sleeves

Cast on 53; 57; 61 sts and make 3 rows of garter stitch. Then, knit due to the following description: 1 selvedge st, 17; 19; 21 purls, 1 selvedge st. In 10 cm, increase 1 st from both sides. Repeat the increases in every 2; 1; 1 cm x 10; 12; 15 times. You should get 73; 81; 91 sts.

At 30; 29; 27 cm bind off 4 sts x 1 in the beginning of each row for the sleeve cap, 2 sts x 3, 1 st x 6; 7; 10 times. Them, bind off 2 sts from both sides until your sleeve is 40 cm height – all the rows due to the scheme M1 should be made. Bind off the rest sts.

Assembly

Sew shoulders. Cast on 100-110 sts along the neck-hole line, including the left sts of front. Make 3 rows of garter stitch and bind off the sts. Sew up the sleeves, make side and sleeve seams.

Sew the buttons.
