Crochet Easter Bunny

Materials and tools:
- Sport / 5 ply yarn:
- color for the bunny: grey (YarnArt Jeans #49)
- color for the for the basket: brown (YarnArt Jeans #40)
- Crochet hook 2.0 mm
- Black and rose thread to embroider the face and stripes (I use the same yarn separated in half)
- Tapestry needle
- Scissors
- Pink blush or eyeshadow
- Stuffing (polyester fiber fill)
- Small eggs for decoration (you can make them with polymer clay)

Stuff the body firmly. Close the opening and hide the yarn inside.
Embroider the eyes using black thread on the R 31 with 4 st between them.
Embroider the nose between R 30-31 and the mouth on R 29.
Paint the cheeks with pink blush or eyeshadow.

Crochet with grey yarn:

Stuff the legs and close the opening, leaving a long tail for sewing.
Embroider stripes with a black thread.
Sew the legs between R 7 and R 14 with 5 st distance between them.
Arms (make 2)
Crochet with grey yarn:

Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Don’t cut the yarn, we will crochet the handle:
Chain 16 (or as much as you need); connect with the opposite side of the basket with a sl st; crochet 16 sc on the chain; sl st on the basket.
Fasten off, hide the thread.
Sew the basket between the hands.
