Crochet Blue Set of Bactus and Hat
You’ll need:
500g of blue-green Qual Irisa yarn (100% polyacryl; 250m/100g);
Crochet hooks 4 and 5.
Used Patterns
Net patent pattern: * 3 double crochets, 1 chain st*, start every row with 4 chain sts instead of the 1st double crochet and the 1st chain st.
Stitches control: net patent pattern: 17 sts x 8,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.;
Single crochets: 13,5 sts x 11 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Bactus
Size: 75 x 150 cm.
1st row: 5 chain sts, 3 double crochets in the 1st chain st, 3 double crochets, 3 chain sts, 3 double crochets, 1 chain st, 1 double crochet;
2nd row: 4 chain sts increase, 3 double crochets in the next chain st, 1 chain st, 3 double crochets in the central arch, 3 chain sts and 3 double crochets (center), 1 chain st, 3 double crochets in chain st after the next group of double crochets, 1 chain st and 1 double crochet in the 4th chain st increase;
3rd row: 4 chain sts increase, * 3 double crochets in the next chain st, 1 chain st*; repeat from * to * x once, 3 double crochets in the central arch, 3 chain sts and 3 double crochets, 1 chain st*; repeat from * to * x twice, 1 double crochet in the 3rd chain st increase.
Repeat the 3rd row, widen net patent pattern, repeat the pattern from * to * x one more time. When the edges are 110 cm, long edge – 150 cm, finish your work. Make tassels from both sides: cut 4 threads of 30 cm long.
Hat
Head circumference: 50-54 cm.
Make 10 double crochets in the 1st set-up st = 1st row, then, work with double crochets in spiral rows and make increases in the following way:
2nd row: double every st = 20 double crochets;
3rd row: double every 2nd st = 30 double crochets;
4th row: double every 3rd row = 40 double crochets;
5th-6th rows: without increases;
7th row: double every 2nd st = 60 double crochets;
8th row: double every 6th row = 70 double crochets.
Work without increases to 22 cm height. Finish the last row with 2 half crochets and 1 single crochet.
