You’ll need:

5 skeins of mélange grey yarn (70% mohair, 30% silk; 210m/25g);

Crochet hook 3.


Size: 144 cm (along upper edge) x 75 cm (from upper edge to corner).


Used Patterns

Picot: 6 chain sts, 1 single crochet in the 1st out of 6 chain sts.

Picot-chain: 2 picots.

Picot-clover: 5 chain sts, 3 picots, connect these 3 picots, making 1 slip st in the 5th chain st from the beginning of work, 4 chain sts.


Instructions

Start your work with chains pattern. For this, make 7 chain sts and circle them in the ring with 1 slip st in the 1st chain st.

1st row: * 7 chain sts, 1 single crochet in the ring*; repeat from * to * x twice = 3 chains;

2nd row: turn with the help of 11 chain sts increase, 1 picot-chain, 1 single crochet in the 1st chain (= central chain), 9 chain sts, 1 single crochet in the same chain, 1 picot-chain, 1 single crochet in the last chain, 1 picot-chain, 1 single crochet in the same chain = 5 chains;

3rd row: turn with the help of 11 chain sts increase, 1 single crochet in the 1st chain in the middle between 2 picots, 1 picot-chain, 1 single crochet in the next chain between 2 picots, 1 picot-chain, 1 single crochet in the central chain, 9 chain sts, 1 single crochet in the same chain, 1 picot-chain, 1 single crochet in the next chain between 2 picots, 1 picot-chain, 1 single crochet in the turning chain, 1 picot-chain, 1 single crochet in the same chain = 7 chains;

4th row: turn with the help of 11 chain sts increase, 1 single crochet in the 1st chain, * 1 picot-chain, 1 single crochet in the next chain between 2 picots*; repeat from * to * to the central chain, 9 chain sts, 1 single crochet in the same chain.

Repeat 4th row to the end of work.


Clover Pattern

1st row: turn with the help of 11 chain sts increase, 1 picot-clover, 1 single crochet in the center of the 1st chain between 2 picots, * 1 picot-clover, 1 single crochet in the next chain between 2 picots*; repeat from * to * to the central chain, 1 single crochet in the central chain, 9 chain sts, 1 single crochet in the same chain*; repeat from * to *, 1 picot-clover;

2nd row: turn with the help of 11 chain sts increase, * 1 picot-clover, 1 single crochet between the 1st and 2nd picots of the next chain, 1 chain st, 1 single crochet between the 2nd and 3rd picots*; repeat from * to * to the central chain, 1 single crochet, 9 chain sts and 1 single crochet in the same st*; repeat from * to *, 1 clover-picot.

Repeat 1st-2nd rows, until you make 14 rows.



Fastening

1st row: work from WS. Turn with the help of 11 chain sts increase, 1 single crochet from both sides of the central picot of the 1st chain behind the central picot, * 6 chain sts, 1 single crochet from both sides of the central picot with chain st behind central picot*; repeat from * to *, 6 chain sts, 1 single crochet in the last chain;

2nd row: work around with double crochets. Turn with the help of 3 chain sts increase, 7 double crochets in the 1st chain, 8 double crochets in the next chains. Make 8 double crochets along the upper side, 8 double crochets, 3 chain sts, 8 double crochets in the corners. Finish with 1 slip st in the 3rd chain st increase.
