You’ll need:
300g of dark-grey (# 13) Lana Grossa Opera yarn (65% cotton, 25% nylon, 5% viscose, 5% sequins; 100m/50g);
100g of light-grey (# 14) Lana Grossa Estivo II (85% cotton, 15% polyamide; 150m/50g);
Straight knitting needles 8;
Crochet hook 4.
Size: 160 x 60 cm.
Used Patterns
Pearled and wavy pattern: due to the scheme. Numbers from left side state for WS rows, numbers from right side – for RS rows. Start with sts before the 1st arrow in width, repeat the pattern = 12 sts between arrows, finish with sts after the 2nd arrow. Repeat 1st-33rd rows x once, then, repeat 8th-33rd rows.
Stitches control: 11 sts x 26 rows = 10 x 22,5 cm.
Instructions
Cast on 68 sts with Opera yarn and knitting needles 8. Make pearled and wavy pattern due to the scheme, start with 1 WS row and make pattern repeat between arrows x 4 times. Repeat 8th-33rd rows x 6 times after the 33rd row, bind off the sts loosely in the 33rd row. Totally, 160 cm = 189 rows.
Make fringe with single crochets along the extensional sides with Estivo II yarn and crochet hook 4. Make single crochets in the 1st row, make 9 single crochets above every 10 cm. In the 2nd row, make 1 single crochet in every single crochet of the previous row in the following way: insert crochet hook in the st of the previous row, twist working yarn around 3 fingers of left hand, draw working yarn in the st, single crochets to the end of row, then, pull of fingers from sts and make 1 tight chain st in order to fix the st. 3rd row: make in the same way, as the 2nd row.
All the sts are placed in front of work x once and behind work x once. Fasten narrow sides in the same way.
