Grey Crochet Shawl
You’ll need:
300g of violet yarn (50% silk, 50% viscose; 140m/50g);
Bias tape 2 cm wide;
Crochet hook 4.
Size: about 172 cm long x 33,5 cm wide (without fringe).
Stitches control: 18,5 sts x 8 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Make 62 chain sts and work due to the scheme. Start every row with sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat. Make 1st-3rd rows x once, then, repeat 2nd-3rd rows. Make slip sts only through front loop of the previous row st. For this, insert crochet hook, draw st and put it upon bias tape. Draw the bias tape to the end of row. Draw the bias tape inwards before the beginning of the 3rd row and draw from st and make 5 single crochets tog in every 5 sts of the 3rd row. Finish your work with the 3rd row in 172 cm from the set-up row.
Assembly
Cast on 876 sts along the perimeter of scarf with circular knitting needles and make * 1 knit st, 1 purl*. Increase 1 st before and after corner st in every 2nd round. In 7 rounds from the set-up row, bind off sts as they face.
Belt
Make 10 chain sts + 2 chain sts increase and work with half-crochets, start every row with 2 chain sts increase instead of the 1st half crochet and finish with 1 half crochet in the 2nd chain st increase of the previous row. In 170 cm from the set-up row, finish your work.
