Knit Light-Grey Pullover

You’ll need:

450g of light-grey yarn (100% cotton; 90m/50g);

Knitting needles 4,5 and 5;

Circular knitting needles 5;

Crochet hook 4.

Size: M-L.

Used Patterns

1 x 1 rib.

Net pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 4 + 2 selvage sts. Work due to the scheme 1, on which both RS and WS rows are stated. Start with 1 selvage st and sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat and 1 selvage st. Repeat 1st-4th rows.

Relief stripes pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 3 + 1 + 2 selvage sts. Work due to the scheme 2, on which both RS and WS rows are stated. Start with 1 selvage st, pattern repeat, finish with st after pattern repeat and 1 selvage st. Repeat 1st-2nd rows.

Stitches control: net pattern: 12 sts x 21 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Relief stripes pattern: 15 sts x 24,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Cast on 50 sts with knitting needles 4,5 and make 8 cm with rib for placket. Continue work with net pattern and knitting needles 5. In 14,5 cm = 30 rows from placket, continue work with relief stripes pattern, increase 1 st in the 1st row = 51 sts. In 15,5 cm = 38 rows from patterns change, continue work with net pattern, decrease 1 st in the 1st row = 50 sts. In 9,5 cm = 20 rows from patterns change, cast on 1 x 33 new sts from both sides = 116 sts and continue work in the following way: 1 selvage st, 25 sts of relief stripes pattern, 64 sts with net pattern, 25 sts with relief stripes pattern, 1 selvage st. In 22 cm = 46 rows from patterns change, divide your work in the middle for neck-hole and leave the last 58 sts for front.

Continue making back on the first 58 sts, bind off 1 st in the 1st row along the edge of neck-hole = 57 sts and continue work in the following way: 1 selvage st, 25 sts of relief stripes pattern, 30 sts with net pattern, 1 selvage st. In 34 cm = 71 rows the middle of back is reached. Then, continue work in the following way: in 46 cm = 96 rows from patterns change, leave sts and continue work on the previously left 58 sts for front due to the pattern, bind off 1 x 3 sts along the edge of neck-hole, then, bind off 2 x 2 sts in every 2nd row = 51 sts. In 34 cm = 71 rows from patterns change or in 21 cm = 51 rows from side edge the middle of neck-hole is reached. Then, finish neck-hole in reflection. In 24 cm = 50 rows from the beginning of neck-hole, cast on sts on the previously left sts, connect both details with the help of 1 st and finish right half on all 116 sts in reflection.

Assembly

For placket, cast on 100 sts along neck-hole with circular knitting needles and work with rib with circle rows. When the width of placket is 8 cm wide, bind off all sts and sew plackets inwards. Make 1 row of single crochets from RS for lower sleeve seams. For lower plackets of sleeves, cast on 72 sts to circular knitting needles and make 8 cm of 1 x 1 rib. Then, bind off all sts as they face. Make side seams.
