You'll need:

150; 200; 250 g of mixed content yarn (42% wool, 46% synthetics, 12% Alpaca wool; 270m/50g);

Straight knitting needles 5,5;

Short circle knitting needles 5,5.


Size: 104-110; 116-122; 128-134.


Used Patterns

Stockinette stitch: in right-side rows - all knit sts, in wrong-side rows - all purls, in circle rows - all knit sts;

Garter stitch: in right-side and wrong-side rows - all knit sts, in circle rows - 1 row of knit sts, 1 row of purls by turn;

Pattern for the edging: 1 st of stockinette stitch, 1 st of garter stitch by turn;

Cable: make on 4 sts due to the scheme. Only right-side rows are stated on the scheme, make wrong-side rows due to the ornament. Repeat horizontal pattern from 4 sts, vertical pattern repeat -2 rows.


Stitches control

Stockientte stitch: 22 sts x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Cable: 25 sts x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm.


Instructions

Back

Cast on 103; 111; 119 sts. Make the 1st and last sts of the 1st and all the following rows as selvedge st. Knit pattern for the edging at 3 cm height between them.

Then, turn to stockinette stitch, for side chamfers, make decreases in the following way:

For 104th-110th rows: 1 st x 14 times from both sides in every 6th row, then 1 st x 4 times from both sides in every 4th row;

For 116th-122th rows: 1 st x twice from both sides in every 8th row, then 1 st x 16 times from both sides in every 6th row;

For 128th-134th rows: 1 st x 8 times from both sides in every 8th row, then 1 st x 10 times from both sides in every 6th row.

Knit 35; 39; 43 cm from the edging with stockinette stitch and then turn to the cable pattern. Increase 7; 11; 11 sts in the 1st row in equal intervals. Totaly, there 74; 86; 94 sts in work.

At 36; 40; 44 cm heigh from the edging, bind off 3 sts from both sides for smooth arm-hole line, then 2 sts x once and 1 st x 4; 5; 4 times.

At 49; 54; 59 cm heigh from the edging, bind off the central 26; 30; 32 sts for the neck-hole. Then, finish each part separately, bind off 7 sts in the 2nd row once for each part.

Then, knit each part to 50; 55; 60 cm heigh from the edging and bind off the sts for shoulder seam.


Front

Make in the same way, as back, but make neck-hole deeper. For this, at 44; 49; 54 cm height from the edging, bind off the central 14; 18; 20 sts.

Then, finish each part separately, bind off 4 sts x once, 3 sts x once, 2 sts x once, 1 st x 4 times for each part in even rows.

After that, knit each part to the same height, as back (= 50; 55; 60 cm from edginf) and bind off the sts for shoulder seam.


Sleeves

Cast on 61; 65; 73 sts. Knit 1 cm with pattern for the edging.

Then, turn to the cable pattern, increase 9 sts in equal intervals in the 1st row. Totaly, there are 70; 74; 82 sts in work.

After knitting 5 cm (from the set-up row), bind off 3 sts x once from both sides for forming sleeve caps, then 2 sts x 1; 2; 3 times in every 2nd row, 2 sts x 3 times, 1 st x 10; 8; 6 times, 2 sts x 1; 2; 3 times, 3 sts x once, 4 sts x once.

At total sleeve height 15 cm, bind off the rest sts.


Assembly

Make shoulder seams.

Along the edge of the neck-hole, lift 96; 104; 104 sts and knit with the pattern for the edging to 10 cm height. Bind off the sts.

Sew the sleeves, pay attention, that the upper point of your sleeve cap should match the shoulder seam. Make sleeve and side seams.
