Blue Knit Jacket for Girl
You’ll need:
600g of light-blue Light yarn (48% wool, 52% acryl; 200m/100g);
100g of the same yarn, but in blue color;
Knitting needles 3,5;
Crochet hook 3;
5 buttons.
Size: 6 years.
Used Patterns
Brioche: 1st row: * 1 knit st, yarn over, slip 1 st (yarn behind work)*; repeat from * to *;
2nd row: * yarn over, slip 1 st (yarn behind work), make st and yarn over of the previous row as knit2tog*; repeat from * to *;
3rd row: * make st and yarn over of the previous row as knit2tog, yarn over, slip 1 st (yarn behind work)*; repeat from * to *.
Repeat 2nd-3rd rows.

Back
Cast on 44 sts with light-blue yarn and work with brioche. At 51 cm height, bind off all the sts.
Front
Cast on 22 sts with light-blue yarn and work with brioche. At 51 cm height, bind off all the sts. Make another half of front in symmetry.
Sleeves
Cast on 32 sts with blue yarn and work with brioche. Change to light-blue yarn at 7 cm height and continue work with brioche. At 38 cm height from the beginning of sleeve, bind off all the sts.
Hood
Cast on 24 sts with light-blue yarn and work with brioche. At 52 cm height, bind off all the sts.
Assembly
Make shoulder seams, sew up the sleeves. Make side seams, step back 6 cm from lower edge and make sleeve seams. Sew hood along the neck-hole. Make 4 rows of single crochets along the edges of front and hood with blue yarn. Make 5 button-loops in the 2nd row of right front. Sew buttons to the left front. Fasten the bottom of work with single crochets with blue yarn, start making crochet 3 cm higher in every stripe of purls. For pockets, make 12 chain sts with blue yarn and make 14 rows of single crochets. Sew pockets to front.
