With Color A,

R1. Ch 5, sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across, turn (4)

R2. Ch 1, BLO sc in each st across, turn (4)

R3-22. Repeat row 2; at the end of row 22 (after turning), hold row 1 to row 22 and sl st in each st across, working through both layers. <Top Ribbing Complete>

With Color B,

R23. Ch 1, sc in the end of each row arnd, sl st to join, do not turn (22)

R24. Ch 1, ssc in each st arnd, sl st to join, do not turn (22)

R25. Repeat round 24

With Color A,

R26. Repeat round 24

With Color C,

R27-29. Repeat round 24

With Color A,

R30. Repeat round 24

With Color B,

R31-33. Repeat round 24

With Color A,

R34. Ch 1, sc x 2, dec x 10, sl st to join, do not turn (12)

R35. Ch 1, dec arnd, sl st to join, do not turn. Fasten. (6)

Weave tail through remaining sts and pull tight to close.

TIE

With Color C,

Ch 40; Fasten.

Finishing
  • Hide all loose strings.
  • Lay pouch flat; Find left side, fold ribbing forward, insert hook into bottom ribbing (just above rnd 23). Attach Color A, ch 6, sl st to same place where Color A was attached. Fasten.
  • Attach lanyard hook to the loop
  • Weave tie string through bottom of ribbing (just above rnd 23)
