To make your Kiki the Kitten Keyring Pattern you will need:

  • 3.5mm crochet hook
  • DK Yarn –

    • Grey – Stylecraft Special DK yarn
    • Powder Pink – Stylecraft Special DK yarn
    • White – Stylecraft Special DK yarn
    • Black – Stylecraft Special DK yarn

    • (I’m unsure of the amount I used but it was less than 50g for the grey yarn, only a small amounts of pink, black and white were needed)
  • Soft toy filling
  • Darning needle to sew together
  • Keyring attachment (if using)

  • MR – Magic Ring
  • CH – Chain
  • SC – Single Crochet
  • INC – Increase
  • DEC – Decrease
  • SS – Slip Stitch
  • St/Sts – Stitch / Stitches

Head (Grey Yarn) – Kiki the Kitten Keyring Pattern

  1. Make a magic ring (MR)
  2. 6SC into MR (6sts) – do not join to first stitch, carry on working in the round
  3. INC in each st x 6 (12sts)
  4. 1SC, INC x 6 (18sts)
  5. 2SC, INC x 6 (24sts)
  6. 3SC, INC x 6 (30sts)
  7. 4SC, INC x 6 (36sts)
  8. 5SC, INC x 6 (42sts)
  9. – 15. 1SC each st x 7 rows (42sts)
  1. 5SC, DEC x 6 (36sts)
  2. 4SC, DEC x 6 (30sts)
  3. 3SC, DEC x 6 (24sts) Start Stuffing
  4. 2SC, DEC x 6 (18sts)
  5. 1SC, DEC x 6 (12sts)

  7. SS, Fasten off leaving a long piece of yarn for sewing to body.

Body (Grey Yarn)

  1. Make a magic ring (MR)

Legs, make 2 (Pink yarn) – Kiki the Kitten Keyring Pattern

  1. Make a magic ring (MR)
  2. 6sc into MR (6sts) do not join to first stitch, carry on working in the round
  3. Inc in each st x 6 (12sts)
  4. 1sc, inc x 6 (18sts)

Change colour to grey yarn:

  1. – 8. 1sc in each st (18) x 4 rows – Start stuffing
  1. 4sc, dec x 3 (15sts)
  2. 3sc, dec x 3 (12sts)
  3. 2sc, dec x 3 (9sts)
  4. 1sc, dec x 3 (6sts)
  5. SS and Fasten off (leaving a long piece of yarn for sewing together)
  6. Sew to the body

Arms (make 2) – Pink yarn

  1. Make a magic ring (MR)
  2. 4SC into MR (4sts) do not join to first stitch, carry on working in the round

Change colour to grey yarn:
