Materials;

SIZE:
Made with Red Heart Super Saver total length is about 13 inches, 11 inches between curlicues
MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn less than .5 ounce
US size G (4.5 mm) crochet hook
Tapestry needle
ABBREVIATIONS:
Ch = chain
Sc = single crochet
Dc = double crochet
NOTES:
  1. Read instructions through before beginning.
  2. If your stitch counts are a little off don’t fret, it isn’t brain surgery.
  3. All dc and sc are made in the top loops of the chains.
  4. This length of bookmark should fit most books. To fit paperback books chain 37 for the cord and second curlicue.

Large Curlicue:
Ch 10. Working in the top loops of chains: 6 dc in 3rd ch from hook, 6 dc in each remaining ch. Slip stitch in the ch where you made the last dc. (48 dc)

Cord:
Ch 47.

Small Curlicue:
Working in the top loops of chains: 6 sc in the 2nd chain from the hook, 6 sc in each of the next 5 chs. Slip stitch in the ch where you made the last sc. (36 sc)
There should be 40 chain stitches in between the curlicues. Remember close is good enough, don’t sweat the small stuff.

Fasten off. Weave the tails through the curlicues.
