​Classic Knit Skirt

You’ll need:

200-250-250-300-300-350g of Drops Fabel yarn (75% wool “superwash”, 25% polyamide; 205m/50g);

Circle knitting needles 3 and 4 (80 cm long);

Circle knitting needles 2,5 (60 cm long).

Size: S – М – L – XL – XXL -XXXL.

Used Patterns

Brioche (in circle rows):

1^st row: * 1 knit st, 1 yarn over, slip 1 st as purl*; repeat from * to *;

2^nd row: * slip 1 st as purl, purl2tog (yarn over and slipped st from the previous row), 1 yarn over*; repeat from * to *;

3^rd row: * knit2tog (yarn over and slipped st from the previous row), 1 yarn over, slip 1 st as purl*; repeat from * to *.

Repeat 2^nd and 3^rd rows.

Stitches control: 24 sts x 32 rows = 10 х 10 cm.

Instructions

Knit around with circle knitting needles from upper edge to down.

Cast on 192-216-240-264-288-328 sts with circle knitting needles 2,5 and make 1 x 1 rib for 8cm. Turn to circle knitting needles 3. Continue work with rib, alternating 1 knit st and 3 purls to 12 cm height.

Now, increase 1 st in every place of purls of rib, make 1 yarn over in the beginning of each ridge = 240-270-300-330-360-410 sts. Continue work, alternate 1 knit st and 4 purls, make yarn overs of the previous row as crossed purls. At 22-22-22-24-24-24 cm height, increase 1 st in every placke of purls, but make yarn over in the end of ridge of purls = 288-324-360-396-432-492 sts. Continue work with rib, alternate 1 knit st and 5 purls to 32-32-32-36-36-36 cm height. Increase 1 st again in the beginning of every place of purls = 336-378-420-462-504-574 sts. Continue work, alternate 1 knit st and 6 purls to 42-42-42-48-48-48 cm height. Then, increase 1 st in the end of each ridge of purls = 384-432-480-528-576-656 sts. Continue work, alternate 1 knit st and 7 purls to 51-53-55-57-59-61 cm height. Turn to circle knitting needles 4 and make 5 rows of brioche. Then, bind off the sts loosely due to the ornament.
