​Knit Short Pullover

You’ll need:

250 (300) 350g of black-red/silver (#6) Cometa yarn (34% alpaca, 33% polyamide, 22% viscose, 6% merino wool, 5% polyester; 130m/50g);

Knitting needles 6 and 8;

Circular knitting needles 8.

Size: S (M) L.

Used Patterns

Chained edge: make the 1^st st of every row as knit st. Slip the last st of every row as purl (yarn in front of yarn).

1 x 1 rib.

Patent edge: in RS row: slip the 1^st-3^rd sts as purls (yarn behind needle) and tighten, make the last 3 sts as knit sts. In WS row: slip the 1^st-3^rd sts as purls (yarn in front of needle) and tighten, make the last 3 sts as purls.

Patent pattern: work due to the scheme. Start with sts before the 1^st arrow, repeat 2 sts of pattern between arrows, finish with sts after the 2^nd arrow. Make 1^st-3^rd rows x once, repeat 2^nd-3^rd rows. Rows a and b state for the last 2 rows of rib placket.

Marked increases: make 1 cross st from across yarn in the beginning of row after the 2^nd st, in the end of row – before the last 2 sts.

Marked decreases: make broaching in the beginning of row after the 2^nd st. In the end of row – make knit2tog before the last 2 sts.

Instructions

Cast on 37 (39) 41 sts with knitting needles 6 for the left sleeve and make 11 cm = 27 rows of rib with chained edges for placket, start in the 1^st WS row with selvage st and 1 purl (1 knit st) 1 purl, finish with 1 purl (1 knit st) 1 purl, 1 selvage st. Then, work with patent pattern with knitting needles 8 and make chained edges. For chamfers, using marked increases, add 1 st from both sides in the 5^th row from placket, then, 13 x 1 st in every 6^th row = 65 (67) 69 sts. Include the increased sts in work. In 31 cm = 88 rows from placket, mark ending of sleeve from both sides and make 3 sts from both sides as patent edge. In 43 (45) 47 cm = 120 (126) 132 rows from placket for neck-hole and make 1 purl and 1 cross purl from the central st. Now, divide your work in the center and after that work separately. Leave front half (= 33 (34) 35 sts) from the left side and work on 33 (34) 35 sts from the right side for back half, make patent edge on 3 sts. At 11 cm = 32 rows width of neck-hole, mark the center of back. After that, make front half in symmetry. After finishing neck-hole work on all sts, decrease the increased sts again and work with chained edges. After the last row of placket, bind off sts as they face. Make sleeve seams with matrass stitch, leave 46 (50) 54 cm open.
