​Light-Blue Knit Pullover with Short Sleeves

You’ll need:

550g of yarn (50% wool, 50% acryl) in light-blue color;

Knitting needles 4,5 and 5.

Size: L-XL.

Used Patterns

1 x 1 rib;

Stockintte stitch: in RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls;

Bead pattern: 4 sts out of 1 st (1 knit st, 1 purl, 1 knit st, 1 purl), return 4 sts to the LH needle, 4 knit sts, throw the 2^nd, 3^rd and 4^th sts on the 1^st st.

Fancy pattern: due to the scheme.

Stitches control: 15 sts x 19 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Cast on 79 sts with knitting needles 4,5 and make 3 cm of 1 x 1 rib. Continue work with knitting needles 5 with stockinette stitch, decrease 6 x 1 st in every 6^th row from both sides = 67 sts, then, increase 5 x 1 st in every 8^th row = 77 sts. At 46 cm height from the beginning of work, bind off 2 sts from both sides for raglan and decrease 16 x 1 st after 1 selvage st in every 2^nd row. Transfer the rest 41 sts to the auxiliary needle. Total height is about 63 cm.

Front

Cast on 79 sts with knitting needles 4,5 and make 3 cm of 1 x 1 rib, increase 7 sts in the last row = 86 sts. Continue work with knitting needles 5, divide the sts in the following way: 19 sts of stockinette stitch, 46 sts due to the scheme and 19 sts of stockinette stitch. Knit, decreasing 5 x 1 st in every 8^th row from both sides = 74 sts, then, increase 5 x 1 st in every 8^th row = 84 sts. At 43 cm height from 1 x 1 rib, bind off 2 sts from both sides for raglan, then, decrease 16 x 1 st after 1 selvage st in every 2^nd row. At the same time at 13 cm height from the beginning of raglan, bind off the central 36 sts for neck-hole, 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts and 1 x 1 st in every 2^nd row from both sides. Total height is about 63 cm.

Sleeves

Cast on 50 sts with knitting needles 4,5 and make 3 cm of 1 x 1 rib. Continue work with knitting needles 5 with stockinette stitch. Bind off 2 sts from both sides for raglan and decrease 16 x 1 st after 1 selvage st in every 2^nd row. Transfer the rest 14 sts to the auxiliary needle. Total height is about 20 cm.

Assembly

Make all the seams, leave one raglan seam open. Lift 117 sts along the neck-hole and upper edge of sleeves with knitting needles 4,5 and work with 1 x 1 rib, make knit2tog along the line of details connection = 114 sts. In 3 cm , bind off the sts due to the pattern. Make the rest raglan seam.
