​Light-Blue Pullover with Short Sleeves

You’ll need:

550g of DK yarn (50% wool, 50% acryl) in light-blue color;

Knitting needles 4,5 and 5.

Size: L (XL).

Used Patterns

1 x 1 rib;

Stockinette stitch: in RS rows – knit sts, in WS rows – purls;

Beads pattern: 4 sts out of 1 st (1 knit st, 1 purl, 1 knit st, 1 purl), transfer 4 sts to the LH needle, 4 knit sts. Throw the 2^nd, 3^rd, 4^th sts on the 1^st st;

Fancy pattern: due to the scheme.

Stitches control: 15 sts x 19 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Cast on 79 sts with knitting needles 4,5 and make 3 cm with 1 x 1 rib. Continue work with stockinette stitch and knitting needles 5, decreasing 6 x 1 st in every 6^th row from both sides = 67 sts, then, increase 5 x 1 st in every 8^th row = 77 sts. At 46 cm height from the beginning of work, bind off 2 sts from both sides for raglan and decrease 16 x 1 st in every 2^nd row after the selvedge st. Transfer the rest 41 sts to the auxiliary needle. Total height = 63 cm.

Front

Cast on 79 sts and make 3 cm with 1 x1 rib, increase 7 sts in the last row = 86 sts. Continue work with knitting needles 5, divide the sts in the following way: 19 sts of stockinette stitch, 46 sts due to the scheme and 19 sts of stockinette stitch. Knit, decreasing 6 x 1 st in every 6^th row from both sides = 74 sts, then, increase 5 x 1 st in every 8^th row = 84 sts. At 43 cm height from 1 x 1 rib, bind off 2 sts from both sides for raglan, then, decrease 16 x 1 st in every 2^nd row after the selvedge st. At the same time, at 13 cm height from raglan beginning, bind off the central 36 sts for neck-hole and 3 sts, 2 sts, 1 st from both sides. Total height = 63 cm.

Sleeves

Cast on 50 sts with knitting needles 4,5 and make 3 cm with 1 x 1 rib. Continue work with stockinette stitch with knitting needles 5. Bind off 2 sts from both sides for raglan and decrease 16 x 1 st in every 2^nd row after 1 selvedge st. Transfer the rest 14 sts to the auxiliary needle. Total height = 20 cm.

Assembly

Make all the seams, leave 1 raglan seam open. Lift 117 sts along the neck-hole and upper edges of sleeves with knitting needles 4,5 and work with 1 x 1 rib, knit2tog along the connecting line = 114 sts. In 3 cm, bind off the sts due to the ornament. Make the rest raglan seam and neck-hole.
