​Crochet Basket for Bathroom

You’ll need:

350g of white Nicka yarn (100% polyester; 60m/50g);

100g of the same yarn, but in bright-pink color;

50g of the same yarn, but in blue color;

50g of the same yarn, but in pistachio color;

Crochet hook 15.

Note: work in 3 threads of yarn.

Size: 42 cm in diameter, 34 cm height.

Used Patterns

Main pattern: circle rows of single crochets. Start every circle row with 1 chain st increase and finish with 1 slip st in the 1^st single crochet.

Weaving pattern: circle rows, the quantity of sts is odd.

1^st circle row: bright-pink: 1 chain st increase, * 1 single crochet, 1 chain st and skip 1 st of the previous circle row*; repeat from * to *, finish with 1 slip st in the 1^st single crochet;

2^nd circle row: pistachio: in the same way, as the 1^st row, but with replacing;

3^rd circle row: blue: in the same way, as the 1^st row;

4^th circle row: white: in the same way, as the 2^nd row.

Make 1^st-4^th rows x twice = 8 circle rows.

Stitches control: main pattern: 5 sts x 5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Make 5 chain sts, circle them in the ring with 1 slip st and work with the main pattern.

1^st circle row: 8 single crochets;

2^nd circle row: 2 sts in 1 base st (16);

3^rd circle row: double every 2^nd st (24);

4^th circle row: double every 3^rd st (35);

5^th circle row: double every 4^th st (40);

6^th circle row: double every 5^th st (48);

7^th circle row: 48 single crochets;

8^th circle row: double every 6^th st (56).

Finish bottom at this moment.

Then, work without increases. In 13 circle rows from the beginning of work, make 8 circle rows of weaving pattern, then, work with the main pattern with white yarn.

Handles

Work in the following way after 2 circle rows of the main pattern: 11 single crochets, skip the next 7 sts, 7 chain sts, 21 single crochets, skip 7 sts, 7 chain sts, 11 single crochets. Make all the sts with main pattern in the next circle row. Make 1 circle row of weaving pattern with bright-pink yarn in 5 circle rows from the weaving pattern and finish your work.
