Special Stitches

V Stitch (V st)- 1dc, 1ch, 1dc.

Double V Stitch (Double V st)- 2dc, 1ch, 2dc.

The quantity of sts is multiple 6 + 5 + 2 chain sts increase.

1st row (WS): work a V st into 5th ch from hook, *skip 2ch, work V st into next ch; rep from * to last 2ch, skip 1ch, 1dc into last ch, turn;

2nd row: 3ch, skip 2 sts, work a Double V into ch sp at center of V st, *1ch, skip next V st, work a Double V st into sp at center of next V st; rep from * leaving last loop of last dc of last Double V st on hook and working it together with 1dc into top of tch, turn;

3^rd row: 3ch, work a V st into each sp to end finishing with 1 dc into top of tch, turn;

4^th row: 3ch, 1dc into 1st st, *1ch, skip next V st, work a Double V st into sp at center of next V st; rep from * until 1 V st remains, 1ch, skip V st, 2dc into top of tch, turn;

5^th row: 3ch, work a V st into each sp to end finishing with 1 dc into top of tch, turn.

Repeat 2^nd-5^th rows.
