Horizontal pattern repeat = 4 rows.

The quantity of sts is multipled 6 + 2 sts for the symmetry + 3 chain sts increase.

1st row: 1st double crochet in the 4th chain st from the crochet hook, 1 double crochet in every st to end of row;

2nd row: 3 chain sts increase, 2 relief double crochets in front of work, * 3 relief double crochets behind work, 3 relief double crochets in front of work*, 3 relief double crochets behind work, 2 relief double crochets in front of work, half double crochet in the chain st of the previous row;

3rd row: 3 chain sts increase, 2 relief double crochets behind work, 3 relief double crochets in front of work, *3 relief double crochets behind work, 3 relief double crochets in front of work*, 2 relief double crochets behind work, half double crochet in the chain st of the previous row;

4th row: as 3rd row;

5th row: as 2nd row.
