You’ll need:

1 skein of Boboli by Berroco yarn (42% wool, 32% acryl, 23% viscose; 188m/100g) in Bonbon color (5312);

Circular knitting needles 4,5 mm (40 cm long);

Double edged knitting needles;

Stitch markers.

Stitches control: 18 sts = 10 cm of stockinette stitch.

Instructions

Cast on 88 sts, place marker in the beginning of row and circle them. * Make 2 circe rows: 2 knit sts, 2 purls, then, 2 more circle rows: 2 purls, 2 knit sts*; repeat from * to * x once.

Next row: * 43 knit sts, 2 sts out of 1 st: 1 knit st through front loop and 2 knit sts through back loop*; repeat from * to * x once = 90 sts.

Then, work with the main pattern in the following way:

1st rnd: * 3 knit sts, knit2tog, yarn over, 1 knit st, yarn over, slip 1 st, 1 knit st, draw it through the slipped st, 2 knit sts*; repeat from * to *;

2nd and 4th rnds: knit;

3rd rnd: *2 knit sts, knit2tog, yarn over, 3 knit sts, yarn over, slip 1 st, 1 knit st, draw it through the slipped st, 1 knit st*; repeat from * to *;

5th rnd: * 1 knit st, knit2tog, yarn over, 5 knit sts, yarn over, slip 1 st, 1 knit st, draw it through the slipped st, 1 knit st*; repeat from * to *;

6th-8th rnds: knit;

9th rnd * 6 knit sts, draw 6 sts: insert RS needle in yarn over (from the 5th row), draw long st and leave on the auxiliary needle, draw 5 more long sts (from the 3rd, 1st, 1st, 3rd and 5th rows), 4 knit sts*; repeat from * to *;

10th rnd: * 5 knit st, next st together with 6 long sts, 4 knit sts*; repeat from * to *;

11th and 12th rnds: knit;

13th rnd: * 1 knit st, yarn over, slip 1 st, 1 knit st, draw it through the slipped st, 5 knit sts, knit2tog, yarn over*; repeat from * to *;

14th and 16th rnds: knit;

15th rnd: * 2 knit sts, yarn over, slip 1 st, 1 knit st, draw it through the slipped st, 3 knit sts, knit2tog, yarn over, 1 knit st*; repeat from * to *;

17th rnd: * 3 knit sts, yarn over, slip 1 st, 1 knit st, draw it through the slipped st, 1 knit st, knit2tog, yarn over, 2 knti sts*; repeat from * to *;

18th-20th rnds: knit;

21st rnd: 1 knit st, draw 3 sts as it’s previously described (from the 13th, 15th and 17th rows), * 10 knit sts, draw 6 sts*; repeat from * to *, 9 knit sts, replace marker, slip 1 purl, draw 3 sts, transfer these 3 sts to the LH needle and return 1 drawn st;

22nd rnd: *next st together with 6 long sts, 9 knit sts*; repeat from * to *;

23rd-24th rnds: knit.

Repeat 1st-12th rnds x once.

Crown

Change to double-edged knitting needles, when there are fewer sts.

1st rnd: * 13 knit sts, knti2tog*; repeat from * to * = 84 sts;

2nd and 3rd rnds: knit;

4th rnd: * 12 knit sts, knit2tog*; repeat from * to * = 78 sts;

5th and 6th rnds: knit;

7th rnd: * 11 knit sts, knit2tog*; repeat from * to * = 72 sts;

8th rnd: knit;

9th rnd: * 10 knit sts, knit2tog*; repeat from * to * = 66 sts;

10th rnd: * 9 knit sts, knit2tog*; repeat from * to * = 60 sts;

11th rnd: * 8 knit sts, knit2tog*; repeat from * to * = 54 sts;

12th rnd: * 7 knit sts, knit2tog*; repeat from * to * = 48 sts;

13th rnd: * 6 knit sts, knit2tog*; repeat from * to * = 42 sts;

14th rnd: * 5 knit sts, knit2tog*; repeat from * to * = 36 sts;

15th rnd: * 4 knit sts, knit2tog*; repeat from * to * = 30 sts;

16th rnd: * 3 knit sts, knit2tog*; repeat from * to * = 24 sts;

17th rnd: * 2 knit sts, knit2tog*; repeat from * to * = 18 sts;

18th rnd: * 1 knit st, knit2tog*; repeat from * to * = 12 sts;

19th rnd: * knit2tog*; repeat from * to * = 6 sts.

Cut the yarn, draw through the rest sts and tighten.
