1 x 1 rib;
Main pattern, knitting needles 8: the quantity of sts is multiple 4 + 1 + 2 selvage sts.
RS row: 1 selvage st, * 1 purl, 1 knit st, slip 1 purl, yarn behind work, 1 knit st*; repeat from * to *, 1 purl, 1 selvage st;
WS row: due to the pattern, slipped sts – as purls.
Stitches control: main pattern: 16,5 sts x 18,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Note: knit as one-piece cloth from sleeve to sleeve.
Instructions
Start with left sleeve. Cast on 40 (44) 48 sts and make 20 cm of rib, increase 23 sts in the last row = 63 (67) 71 sts. Then, work with the main pattern. At the same time, increase 11 x 1 st in every 4th row from both sides for sleeve chamfers and 2 x 1 st in every 2nd row = 89 (93) 97 sts, include the increased sts in the pattern. In 27 cm = 50 rows from rib, cast on 32 (36) 40 sts from both sides and knit on all 153 (165) 177 sts with the main pattern.
In 34,5 cm = 64 rows (36,5 cm = 68 rows) 38,5 cm = 72 rows from rib, bind off the central st and finish each side separately (76 (82) 88) sts from each side. In 53 cm = 98 rows (55 cm = 102 rows) 57 cm = 106 rows from rib, the middle of pullover is reached.
From this point, finish your pullover in symmetry. In 106 cm = 196 rows (110 cm = 204 rows) 114 cm = 212 rows from rib, decrease 23 sts and make 20 cm of rib on the rest 40 (44) 48 sts, then, bind off all the sts due to the pattern.
Assembly
Cast on 78 (84) 90 sts along the lower edge of front and back, make 16 cm of rib, then, bind off the sts due to the pattern. Make side and sleeve seams. Cast on 136 sts along the neck-hole with circular knitting needles and make 1 circle row of purls, then, bind off all the sts as knit sts.
