You’ll need:
250 (350)g of light-green mélange yarn (55% cotton, 45% linen; 140m/50g);
Knitting needles 4;
Short circular knitting needles 4.
Size: S (L).
Used Patterns
Rib: the quantity of sts is multiple 4 + 2 + 2 selvage sts. Start and finish every row with 1 selvage st;
RS rows: * 2 knit sts, 2 purls*; repeat from * to *, finish with 2 knit sts;
WS rows: due to the pattern;
Circle rows (the quantity of sts is multiple 4): 2 knit sts, 2 purls by turn.
Relief pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 17 + 2 + 2 selvage sts, work due to the scheme, on which only RS rows are stated, make WS rows and yarn overs as purls. Start with 1 selvage st, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat and 1 selvage st. Repeat 1st-20th rows.
Stitches control: 21 sts x 28,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Note
Sew both upper plackets upon shoulder seams. As a result, front and back are shorten in 3 cm.
Instructions
Back
Cast on 108 (124) sts and make 6 cm of rib for the placket. Continue work with relief pattern, decrease 2 (1) sts in this 1st row = 106 (123) sts. For the upper placket in 42 cm = 120 rows (49 cm = 140 rows) from the placket, continue work with rib, increase 2 (1) st in this 1st row = 108 (124) sts. Bind off all the sts at 6 cm width of the placket.
Front
Make in the same way, as back, but make upper placket in 35 cm = 100 rows (42 cm = 120 rows) from the placket. Bind off all the sts at 6 cm width of the placket.
Assembly
For shoulders, sew outer 10 (13) cm of bound off edge of front upper placket from WS to the beginning of back upper placket and then outer 10 (13) cm of bound off edge of back upper placket from RS to the front upper placket. Make side seams, leave 6 cm open in the bottom of front from both sides and 13 cm of back for cuts, also 16 (20) cm for the arm-hole.
For plackets, cast on 88 (108) sts along the edge of each arm-hole with circular knitting needles and work with pattern 1 with circle rows. Bind off all the sts due to the pattern at 6 cm width of the placket.
