Start with a 5 mm hook
Ch 15
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc across, turn. (14)
Row 2: Ch 1, sc, 2 sc next st, sc across until the last 2 sts, 2 sc next st, sc last st, turn. (16)
Row 3: Ch 1, sc across, turn.
Rows 4-9: Repeat rows 2&3. (22)
Rows 10-30: Ch 1, sc across, turn.
Rows 31-35: Ch 1, sc2tog, sc across until the last 2 sts, sc2tog, turn*. (12)

Sides of Hat
