Knit Orange Pullover with Big Collar

You’ll need:

400 (450) 500g of mélange orange (11) Lala Berlin Lovely Lana Grossa yarn (52% alpaca, 18% wool, 18% cashmere, 12% polyamide; 90m/50g);

150 (175) 200g of orange (417) Silkhair Pailettes Lana Grossa yarn (61% mohair, 11% silk, 11% merino wool, 17% nylon; 155m/25g);

Knitting needles 5 and 6;

Circular knitting needles 8;

Crochet hook 6.

Size: S (M) L.

Note: work in 2 threads of Silkhair Paillettes yarn.

Used Patterns

2 x 2 rib.

Main pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 14 + 1 + 1 selvage st. Work due to the scheme. Repeat 1st-4th rows.

Stitches control: 14 sts x 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back

Cast on 58 (62) 66 sts with Lala Berlin Lovely yarn and knitting needles 5 and work with rib, start with 1 selvage st, 1 purl, 2 knit sts in the 1st WS row. In 8 cm in the last WS row, increase 29 sts = 87 (91) 95 sts. Change to knitting needles 6 and work with the main pattern: 1 selvage st, start from arrow A (B-C) due to the scheme, pattern repeat x 6 times, finish with arrow D (E-F) due to the scheme, 1 selvage st. In 46 (45) 44 cm from the beginning of work, bind off 1 x 4 sts from both sides for arm-holes, then, bind off 1 x 4 sts, 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts, 2 x 1 st in every 2nd row = 57 (61) 65 sts. In 20 (21) 22 cm from the beginning of arm-hole, bind off 1 x 5 (5) 6 sts from both sides for shoulder chamfers, bind off 2 x 5 sts (2 x 6 sts) 1 x 6 sts and 1 x 7 sts in every 2nd row. At the same time, with the beginning of the 1st decrease for shoulder, bind off the central 23 sts and decrease 1 x 2 sts in every 2nd row.

Front

Make in the same way, as back. In 59 cm from the beginning of work, bind off the central 9 sts for neck-hole, then, decrease 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts, 2 x 1 st in every 2nd row and 2 x 1 st in every 4th row. Make shoulder seams in the same way, as for back.

Sleeves

Cast on 26 (30) 34 sts with knitting needles 5 and Lala Berlin Lovely yarn, work with rib in the same way, as for back. In 8 cm increase 33 sts in the last WS row = 59 (63) 67 sts. Change to knitting needles 6 and work with the main pattern: 1 selvage st, start due to the scheme from arrow A  (B) C, 4 pattern repeats, finish with arrow D (E) F due to the scheme, 1 selvage st. In 43 cm from the beginning of work, bind off 1 x 3 sts (3 x 4 sts) from both sides for sleeve caps, then, decrease 1 x 2 sts, 14 x 1 st and 2 x 2 sts (1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts, 13 x 1 st and 2 x 2 sts in every 2nd row) 1 x 3 sts, 2 x 2 sts, 12 x 1 st and 2 x 2 sts in every 2nd row. In 15 cm from the beginning of sleeve cap, bind off the rest 13 sts.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. Fasten neck-hole with 1 cirlce row of single crochets with Lala Berlin Lovely yarn. Cast on 84 sts with knitting needles 8. Work with circle rows of rib. In 28 cm, bind off sts. Make side seams and sew up the sleeves.
