​Knit Dress with Fancy Collar

You’ll need:

650g of pink 100% merino wool yarn (110m/50g);

Knitting needles 3,5 and 4,5;

Circular knitting neeedles 4,5.

Size: S-M.

Used Patterns

Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls;

Wrong-side pattern: in RS row – purls, in WS row – knit sts;

1 x 1 rib;

Relief pattern: work due to the scheme, on which only RS rows are stated. Make WS rows as sts face, yarn overs as purls or as stated, make yarn overs in circle rows as knit sts or as stated.

Stitches control: 21 sts x 27 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back

Cast on 114 sts with knitting needles 3,5 and make 6 rows of rib. Then, turn to knitting needles 4,5 and make 130 rows of stockinette stitch, decrease 18 sts in the last row, for this, make every 5^th and 6^th sts as knit2tog = 94 sts. Then, work with wrong-side pattern. In 42 rows from the beginning of wrong-side pattern, bind off 4 sts from both sides for raglan chamfers, then, decrease 25 x 1 st in every 2^nd row, for this, make 4^th and 5h sts from selvage st together. In 52 rows from the beginning of raglan, bind off the rest sts.

Front

Make in the same way, as back, bind off 4 sts from both side for raglan chamfers in 42 rows from the beginning of wrong-side pattern, then, decrease 17 x 1 st in every 2^nd row from both sides, as for back. In 36 rows from the beginning of raglan, bind off all the sts.

Left Sleeve

Cast on 40 sts with knitting needles 4,5 and work with relief pattern. For sleeve chamfers, increase 13 x 1 st in every 10^th row from both sides = 66 sts. In 140 rows from set-up row, bind off 4 sts from both sides for raglan chamfers, then, make 1 knit st before and after selvage st, making 3^rd and 4^th sts as knit2tog in every 2^nd row from both sides. In 36 rows from the beginning of raglan, work with shorten rows, for this, don’t finish 7 x 2 sts in every 2^nd row from right side, continue making decrease for raglan chamfers from left side. In 52 rows from beginning of raglan, bind off all the sts.

Right Sleeve

Make in symmetry to the left sleeve.

Collar

Cast on 108 sts with circular knitting needle 4,5 and work with relief pattern in circle rows. In 60 rows from the set-up row, bind off all the sts.

Assembly

Make raglan, side and sleeve seams. Sew collar.
