200 (250) 250g of bright sectional coloring yarn (80% wool, 20% polyamide; 175m/50g);

Crochet hooks 3 and 3,5;

3 buttons.

Size: 18-24 months (3-4 years) 5-7 years.

Used Patterns

Single crochets: start every row with 1 chain st increase instead of the 1st single crochet.

Double crochets: start every row with 3 chain sts increase instead of the 1st double crochet.

Pattern on 7 initial sts: work due to the scheme. Turn the row, as stated on the scheme. Start with sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat. Make 1st-7th rows x once.

Stitches control: 23 sts x 10 rows = 13 x 10 cm;

Pattern due to the scheme: 7 rows = 7 cm.

Back

Make 79 (86) 93 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase with crochet hook 3 and work due to the scheme. Make 1st-7th rows x once. Then, turn to crochet hook 3,5 and work with double crochets, decrease 28 sts in the 23rd (27th) 31st row by means of making 2 sts together. Make 7 rows due to the scheme on the rest 51 (58) 65 sts. Make 36 (43) 50 chain sts in the end of the last row. Finish your work.

Front

Make in the same way, as back.

Yoke

Make side seams and start making yoke in the center of back. Make 25 (29) 32 double crochets in the 1st row for the left sleeve and make 36 (43) 50 double crochets on chain sts for front, make 50 (58) 62 double crochets for the right sleeve and 36 (43) 50 double crochets and make 25 (29) 32 double crochets = 172 (202) 226 sts. At first, make 1st (2nd) 3rd row without decreases.

2nd (3rd) 4th row: decrease every 5th st;

3rd (4th)5th row: without decreases;

4th (5th) 6th row: decrease every 4th st;

5th (6th) 7th row: without decreases;

6th (7th) 8th row: decrease every 3rd row;

7th and 8th (8th and 9th) 9th and 10th rows: without decreases.

Change to crochet hook 3, starting from the 9th (10th) 11th row, make 2 more rows and finish your work.

Assembly

Fasten arm-holes and neck-hole with 1 circle row of single crochets and 1 circle row of “crab stitch” with crochet hook 3. Make 3 hanging loops. Sew buttons.
