​Crochet Red Dress for Girl

You’ll need:

150g of red (# 019) Alpina Lily yarn (100% cotton; 175m/50g);

75g of the same yarn, but in yellow color (#182);

10g of the same yarn, but in green color (#157);

Crochet hook 2;

3 buttons.

Length of dress: 28-30 cm.

Stitches control: 4,5 pattern repeats x 10 rows = 10 x 10 cm due to the scheme 1;

Double crochets: 26 sts x 15 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Make 330 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase with red yarn and work due to the scheme 1 (= 41 pattern repeats). After making 30 rows due to the scheme 1, make 4 double crochets in every arch of the previous row in the next row (= 164 crochets). Make single crochets in the next row, decrease 8 crochets = 156 crochets. Then, make bra with double crochets with yellow yarn. After making 3 rows, divide your work in the following way: 29 sts – ½ back, 20 sts – arm-hole, 58 sts – front, 20 sts – arm-hole, 29 sts – ½ back.

Right Part of Back

Crochet straight for 13 rows, for smooth rounding, make 12 slip sts from the center of back for neck-hole, make 3 chain sts increase and make the next 2 sts together with double crochets. Make 2 double crochets in the next 2 rows from neck-hole side (= 15 crochets). After making 21 rows from the beginning of bra, finish your work.

Left Part of Back

Finish in symmetry.

Front

Crochet straight for 10 rows, for neck-hole, leave the central 20 sts and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, make 4 x 2 crochets tog in every row. After making 21 rows from the beginning of bra, finish your work, leave 15 sts for shoulder from each side.

Sleeves

Make 88 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase with yellow yarn, make 11 rows due to the scheme 1 and 1 row of single crochets.

Assembly

Make shoulder and vertical seams with red yarn. Sew up the sleeves. Make sleeve seams. Fasten vertical edges of sleeves with 2 rows of single crochets with yellow yarn, make 3 button-loops. Fasten neck-hole due to the scheme 2 with red yarn (= 10 pattern repeats). Fasten the bottom of dress due to the scheme 2 with red yarn (= 36 pattern repeats). Fasten due to the scheme 2 along the edges of sleeves with red yarn (= 6 pattern repeats). Sew buttons.
