​Melange Pink Knit Pullover

You’ll need:

350 (400)g of pink/lilac/white/light-grey/light-orange Lana Grossa Allegro Print yarn (58% viscose, 42% cotton; 115m/50g);

Straight knitting needles 6;

Circular knitting needles 6 (60 cm long);

Crochet hook 4.

Size: S (M).

Used Patterns

Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit sts, in WS rows – purls. In circle rows only knit sts.

Net pattern: work due to the scheme 1. In width, start with sts before the 1^st arrow, pattern repeat = 4 sts between arrows, finish with sts after the 2^nd arrow. Repeat 1^st-4^th rows.

Pattern of arcs: due to the scheme 2. In width, start with sts before the 1^st arrow, pattern repeat x 5 times, finish with sts after the 2^nd arrow. Make groups of double crochets around arcs of chain sts of the previous row in the 2^nd and 5^th rows. Make 1^st-7^th rows x once, then, repeat 2^nd-7^th rows.

Stitches control: net pattern, knitting needles 6: 19 sts x 24,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Stockinette stitch, knitting needles 6: 19 sts x 29 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Pattern of arcs, crochet hook 4: 2 pattern repeats x 14 rows = 8 x 12,5 cm.

Instructions

Back

Work from up down to up. For this, cast on 85 (930 sts with knitting needles 6 and work with net pattern. In 31 cm = 76 rows from the beginning of work, make yoke with stockinette stitch. In 5 cm = 16 rows from the beginning of yoke, bind off 5 sts from both sides for arm-holes, then, bind off 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts, 2 x 1 st in every 2^nd row = 61 (69) sts. In 17 (18) cm = 50 (52) rows from the beginning of arm-holes, bind off the central 11 sts for neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 1 x 7 sts and 1 x 2 sts in every 2^nd row from inwards. In 2 cm = 6 rows from the beginning of neck-hole, bind off the rest 16 (20) sts of shoulders from both sides.

Front

Make in the same way, as back, but with deeper neck-hole. For this, in 11 (12) cm = 32 (34) rows from the beginning of arm-holes, bind off the central 15 sts and finish both sides separately. Bind off 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts and 2 x 1 st in every 2^nd row from inwards. Bind off the rest 16 (20) sts of shoulder from outer side at the height of back.

Sleeves

Make 57 chain sts + 1 chain st. For placket, make arcs pattern, make the 1^st single crochet in the 2^nd chain st from the crochet hook in the 1^st row. In 12,5 cm =14 rows from the beginning, finish your work. Then, cast on 56 sts with knitting needles 6 along WS of set-up chain. Make upper part of sleeves with stockinette stitch, start with 1 WS row. Increase 1 st in the 8^th (4^th) row from the end of placket for side chamfers, then, cast on 1 (3) 1 x 1 st in every 4^th row and 2 x 1 st in every 6^th (2^nd) row = 64 (68) sts. In 8 cm = 23 rows from the end of placket, bind off 5 sts from both sides for sleeve caps, then, bind off 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts, 2 x 1 st in every 2^nd row, 4 x 1 st in every 6^th row and again 2 x 1 st, 1 x 2 sts, 1 x 3 sts and 1 x 4 sts in every 2^nd row. Bind off the rest 10 (14) sts in the next row.

Assembly

Make all seams. Cast on 96 sts with circular knitting needles 6 along neck-hole. Sew up the sleeves.
