​Knit Mint Pullover

You’ll need:

450 (550)g of mint 100% cotton yarn (156m/50g);

Knitting needles 2,5;

Circular knitting needles 2,5.

Size: S (L).

Used Patterns

1 x 1 rib;

Main pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 28 + 1 + 2 selvage sts. Work due to the scheme, on which both RS and WS rows are stated. Start with 1 selvage st, pattern repeat, finish with st after pattern repeat and 1 selvage st. Make 1^st-14^th rows x once, then, repeat 3^rd-14^th rows.

Net pattern: the quantity of sts is even.

RS rows: 1 selvage st, * 1 yarn over, knit2tog to the left*; repeat from * to *, 1 selvage st.

WS rows: 1 selvage st, * 1 yarn over, purl2tog*; repeat from * to *, 1 selvage st.

Wrong-side pattern: in RS rows – purls, in WS rows – knit sts.

Fold (on 6 rows0:

1^st row: knit;

2^nd-5^th rows: wrong-side pattern;

6^th row (WS): make every st with crossed yarn of the corresponding st of the 1^st row together as purl.

Stitches control: main pattern: 31 sts x 34 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Net pattern: 24 sts = 12 cm wide;

Fold: 6 rows = 0,5 cm.

Note: make the details of shoulder separately and across and sew them in the end of work between front and back.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 171 (199) sts and make 2 cm of 1 x 1 rib for placket. Continue work with main pattern. In 36 cm = 122 rows from placket, cast on 1 x 42 sts from both sides for sleeves and continue work on all 255 (283) sts due to the pattern. In 52 cm = 176 rows (55,5 cm = 188 rows) from placket, make a fold. Then, bind off all sts, the central 71 sts form neck-hole, outer 92 (106) sts from both sides – shoulders and sleeves.

Front

Make in the same way, as back.

Shoulders

Cast on 24 sts and work with net pattern. In 29,5 (34) cm from the set-up row, bind off all sts. Make the second sleeve in the same way.

Assembly

Sew shoulders to the outer 29,5 (34) cm of front and back. For placket, cast on 71 sts along the edges of front and back (each) with circular knitting needles, 18 sts along the edges of shoulders from both sides and make 4 circle rows of knit sts on all 178 sts. After that, bind off all sts as knit sts. For sleeve plackets, cast on 94 (114) sts along the edges of sleeves and make 1 WS row of purls, 2 rows of wrong-side pattern. Then, bind off all sts as purls. Make side and sleeve seams.
