​Grey Pullover with V-Shape Neck-Hole

You’ll need:

650 (750)g of light-grey 100% cotton yarn (80m/50g);

Knitting needles 5;

Circular knitting needles 4,5.

Size: S (M).

Used Patterns

Garter stitch;

Main pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 10 + 9 + 2 selvage sts. Work due to the scheme, on which both RS and WS rows are stated. Start with 1 selvage st and sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat and 1 selvage st. Repeat 1^st-20^th rows.

Stitches control: 16 sts x 41 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 81 (91) sts and make 1 cm = 3 rows of garter stitch, start with 1 WS row. Continue work with main pattern. In 63,5 cm = 260 rows from placket, bind off all sts, the central 37 sts form neck-hole, outer 22 (27) sts – shoulders.

Front

Make in the same way, as back, but start pattern with 11^th-20^th rows, then, repeat 1^st-20^th rows. For V-shape neck-hole, bind off the central st in 39 cm = 160 rows from placket and finish both sides separately. For chamfer, bind off 18 x 1 st in every 4^th and 6^th row by turn from inwards. Bind off the rest 22 (27) sts of shoulder at the height of back.

Sleeves

Cast on 41 (51) sts for each sleeve and make placket in the same way, as for back. Continue work with main pattern. In 12 cm = 50 rows from placket, increase 1 x 1 st from both sides for sleeve chamfers, then, bind off 4 x 1 st in every 14^th row and 2 x 1 st in every 12^th row and work with garter stitch = 55 (65) sts. In 34 cm = 140 rows from placket, bind off all sts.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. For placket, cast on 124 sts along neck-hole with circular knitting needles and work with garter stitch. At 1,5 cm width of placket, bind off all sts, as knit sts. Sew up the sleeves, make side and sleeve seams.
