Crochet Plaid with Rhombs
You’ll need:
600g of thick yarn (100% acryl) in light-brown color;
500g of the same yarn, but in dark-brown color and mustard color (each);
Crochet hook 4.
170 cm of fleece.
Size: 156 x 104 cm.
Stitches control: 13 sts = 10 cm.
Instructions
For triangle motif, make 31 chain sts and work, alternating 1 row of single crochets and 1 row of double crochets, decrease 15 x 1 st in every 2nd row = 1 st and cut the yarn.
Make 2 motifs with mustard yarn, 4 motifs with light-brown yarn and 2 motifs with dark-brown yarn.
For rhomb motif, make triangle motif, then, make in the same way from the opposite side of initial chain and lift the sts.
Make 7 mustard motifs, 10 light-brown motifs, 7 dark-brown motifs. For half of rhomb motif, make 16 chain sts and work, alternating 1 row of single crochets and 1 row of double crochets, decrease 15 x 1 st in every 2nd row from the right side and cut the yarn.
Lift sts from the opposite side of initial chain and work in symmetry. Make 4 mustard motifs and 4 dark brown motifs.
Assembly
Connect motifs due to the scheme with 1 rows of slip sts from WS. Fasten the edges of plaid with 3 rows of single crochets with light-brown yarn, make 3 single crochets in every corner. Sew fleece from the WS.
