Used Patterns

1 x 1 rib;

Big pearled pattern: the quantity of sts is odd + 2 selvage sts.

1^st row: * 1 knit st, 1 purl*; repeat from * to *;

2^nd and 4^th rows: due to the ornament;

3^rd row: * 1 purl, 1 knit st*; repeat from * to *.

Repeat 1^st-4^th rows.

Cable (22 sts wide): due to the scheme, on which both RS and WS rows are stated. Make WS rows due to the ornament. Make 1^st-22^nd rows x once, then, repeat 3^rd-22^nd rows.

Stitches control: big pearled pattern: 16 sts x 20 rows = 10 x10 cm.

Then, work in the following way: 35 (38) 41 (44) 48 sts of big pearled pattern, 22 sts of cable (21 + 1 st) and 35 (38) 41 (44) 48 sts of big pearled pattern = 92 (98) 104 (110) 118 sts. In 20 cm from the set-up row, make decreases for better fitting in the following way: make knit3tog/purl3tog after the first 5 sts and before the last 5 sts. Make these decreases x 3 times in every 8 cm. In 52 (53) 54 (55) 56 cm from the set-up row, bind off 1 x 2 sts from both sides for arm-holes, then, 3 (3) 4 (4) 5 х 2 sts in every 2^nd row in the following way: make knit3tog/purl3tog in the beginning of row after selvage st and in the end of row before selvage st. Then, work without decreases on the rest 60 (66) 68 (74) 78 sts. In 21 (22) 23 (24) 25 cm from the beginning of arm-holes chamfers, bind off 13 (16) 17 (20) 22 sts for shoulders from both sides, leave the central 34 sts.

Left Front

Cast on 52 (55) 58 (61) 65 sts and make 4 cm of rib for placket. Then, work in the following way: 16 (19) 22 (25) 29 sts of big pearled pattern, 22 sts of cable (21 + 1 st) and 15 sts of big pearled pattern = 53 (56) 59 (62) 66 sts. Make decreases for better fitting and arm-hole chamfer from the right side in the same way, as for back. Then, work on the rest 37 (40) 41 (44) 46 sts without decreases. In 21 (22) 23 (24) 25 cm from the beginning of arm-holes chamfers, bind off 17 (20) 21 (24) 26 sts of shoulder from the right side and leave the rest 20 sts.

Right Front

Make in symmetry to the left front.

Sleeves

Cast on 41 (43) 43 (45) 45 sts and make 4 cm of rib for the placket. Then, work with big pearled pattern. In 16 cm from the set-up row, increase 4 (3) 0 (1) 0 х 1 st in every 6^th row from both sides for sleeve chamfers and 5 (7) 12 (11) 14 х 1 st in every 4^th row = 61 (65) 69 (71) 75 sts. In 43 (44) 45 (46) 47 cm from the set-up row, bind off 1 x 2 sts from both sides for sleeve caps, then, 5 (5) 6 (6) 7 х 1 st in every 2^nd row, making knit2tog/purl2tog in the beginning of row after selvage st and in the end of row before selvage st. At 48 (49) 51 (52) 54 cm from the set-up row, bind off all the sts.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. Transfer the previously left sts to the knitting needles and knit hood along the neck-hole in the following way: 20 sts of right front and the first 6 sts of back with big pearled pattern, 22 sts of cable, the last 6 sts of back and 20 sts of left front with big pearled pattern. Increase 1 knit/cross purl in the 1^st row from both sides of 22 sts of cable. After making 2 rows, increase 5 x 2 sts in every 2^nd row. At 26 cm height of hood, bind off the central 18 sts of cable and finish each side separately, knitting for 4 cm. Fold the hood in half and sew the sts of the last row. Sew the hood to the neck-hole line.
