You’ll need:

350 (400) 450g of sandy Biopo yarn (100% cotton; 120m/50g);

Circular knitting needles 4;

Crochet hook 3,5.

Size: S (M) L.

Used Patterns

Main pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 8 + 3 + 2 selvage sts. Work due to the scheme 1, on which only RS rows are stated, make WS rows due to the ornament, yarn overs – as purls. Start with 1 selvage st, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat and 1 selvage st. Repeat 1st-4th rows.

Central pattern (21 sts): due to the scheme 2, on which only RS rows are stated, make WS rows due to the ornament. Make 1st-2nd rows x 40 times, 3rd-54th rows x once = 132 rows, then, repeat 55th-56th rows.

Stitches control: main pattern: 21,5 sts x 27 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Central pattern: 21 sts x 27 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 101 (109) 117 sts with criss-cross method and work with main pattern. In 76 cm = 206 rows from the set-up row, bind off the central 23 (25) 27 sts for the neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 1 x 3 sts and 1 x 2 sts in every 2nd row. In 78,5 cm = 212 rows from the set-up row, bind off the rest 34 (37) 40 sts of shoulder from each side.

Front

Cast on 103 (111) 119 sts with criss-cross method and work in the following way: 1 selvage st, 40 (44) 48 sts of main pattern, make 5 pattern repeats (1 x the last 4 sts of pattern repeat, 5 pattern repeats) 6 pattern repeats, 21 sts of the central pattern, 40 (44) 48 sts of the main pattern, 1 selvage st. In 49 cm = 132 rows from the set-up row, bind off the central st for V-shape neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For neck-hole chamfer, make the first st of the central pattern and the previous st as knit2tog in the next 2nd row or with the last st of the central pattern with the next st as broaching. Repeat these decreases x 2 (3) 4 times in every 2nd row, 10 times in every 4th row and 4 times in every 6th row. Bind off the rest 34 (37) 40 sts of shoulders from both sides at the height of back.

Assembly

Make shoulder and side seams, leave the upper 18 (19) 20 cm of side seams open for arm-holes. Fasten the neck-hole and arm-holes with 1 circle row of “shrimp stitch”.
