You’ll need:
Super Bulky/size 6 yarn -approx. 100 yards;
Crochet hook 6 mm.
Notes
Place first stitch of each row in the same stitch as your chain.
Ch-2 at beginning of round does not count as a stitch.
Instructions
Round 1: Magic circle, ch-2, 12 dc in circle. Join to top of first dc. (12)
Round 2: Ch-2, 2dc in each st around. Join to top of first dc. (24)
Rounds 3 – 8: Ch-2, dc in each st around. Join to top of first dc. (24)
Round 9: Ch-2, dc in 18 sts, hdc in next, sc in next 4 sts, hdc in last. Join to top of first dc. (24)
Round 10: Ch-2, dc in 18 sts. (18)
Rounds 11 – 13 (or length needed): Ch-2, turn, dc in each st to end. (18)
***stop when slipper length is 1” shorter than foot length***
Round 14 (or last round needed for size: Ch-2, dc in 7 sts, dc2tog, dc2tog, dc in 7 sts. (16) Do not fasten off, sl st to top of first st from this row to create the heel. Ch-1, turn.
Around top of slipper, with slipper toe facing away from you: sc in each row end around entire opening.
Fasten off and sew down heel using the Mattress Stitch, weave in ends.
