You’ll need:

700 (800)g of beige Alpaka yarn (100% Alpaca; 100m/50g);

Straight knitting needles 4,5 and 5;

Circle knitting needles 4,5.

Size: M/L (XXL-XXXL).

Used Patterns

1 x 1 rib, knitting needles 4,5;

Pattern with cables, knitting needles 5: the quantity of sts is multiple 34 + 21 (13) + 2 selvage sts. Work due to the scheme, on which only RS rows are stated, make WS rows due to the ornament. Start with 1 selvage st, pattern repeat, finish with sts before arrow A and 1 selvage st (start with 1 selvage st and sts from arrow B, repeat the pattern, finish with sts before arrow C and 1 selvage st). Repeat 1st-34th rows x once, then, repeat 3rd-34th rows.

Stitches control: 22,5 sts x 23,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 110 (130) sts and make 4 cm of rib, increase 15 (21) sts in the last row = 125 (151) sts. Then, work with pattern with cables. In 38 cm = 30 rows (35,5 cm = 84 rows) from rib, bind off 1 x 1 st and 2 x 1 st in every 2nd row from both sides for arm-holes = 117 (143) sts. In 60,5 cm = 142 rows from rib, bind off 9 (13) sts from both sides for shoulder chamfers and 3 x 10 sts (1 x 13 sts and 2 x 12 sts) in every 2nd row and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 1 x 4 sts and 1 x 2 sts in every 2nd row from inwards. In 63 cm = 148 rows from rib, bind off all the sts.

Front

Make in the same way, as back, but with deeper neck-hole. For this, in 56 cm = 132 rows from rib, bind off the central 15 (19) sts and 1 x 3 sts, 3 x 2 sts and 3 x 1 st in every 2nd row.

Sleeves

Cast on 45 (49) sts and make 5 cm of rib, increase 16 (18) sts in the last row = 61 (67) sts. Then, work with pattern with cables, placing it from the center. At the same time, increase 2 x 1 st in every 4th row from both sides of rib and 15 (16) x 1 st in every 6th row = 95 (103) sts, include the increase sts in the pattern. In 44 cm = 104 rows (46,5 cm = 110 rows) from rib, bind off 1 x 2 (4) sts, 2 x 5 sts, 2 x 7 sts and 1 x 9 sts in every 2nd row from both sides for sleeve caps. In 49 cm = 116 rows (51,5 cm = 122 rows) from rib, bind off the rest 25 (29) sts.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams, cast on 88 (96) sts with circle knitting needles along the neck-hole line and make 2 cm of rib, then, bind off the sts due to the ornament. Sew up the sleeves, make side and sleeve seams.
