Relief Knit Stitch with Cables
Work due to the scheme, on which only right-side rows are stated. Make wrong-side rows due to the ornament.
Horizontal pattern repeat is marked with [***].
Vertical pattern repeat = 40 rows.

The patterns you post are so beautiful, but there are only a few I can actually make because I am better with written instructions vs a chart of symbols. I am also unfamiliar with some of the terms, such as the word “ornament”. You also mention that the row repeat is shown as “[****]”, but that is not indicated on the chart. Saying all that, can you help with these questions? Can you provide written instructions? How many chain stitches make up the first row? What does ornament mean? Are the wrong side rows all purls? What stitches on the chart make up the stitches you referenced as “ [****]“. Thanks for any help you can provide because I would really love to make this blanket.

Ok, I'll need some time to make a post with explanations, because sometimes even I can't find the proper instructions. Ornament = pattern, picture
