Tips

- All stitches are worked into both loops unless stated otherwise in the pattern.
- When filling with polyester stuffing, pull apart each large chunk into smaller pieces for even firmness.
- Amigurumi can be made in any desired colors.
Seamless Color Change Method
To change color seamlessly while working in the round, adopt the following method:
Pick up the new color at the end of the round: insert your hook into the stitch, yarn over with the new color, and pull through the stitch and the loop on your hook to complete the stitch.
Making a Magic Ring
- Loop the thread twice around your middle finger.
- Put the hook under both loops, pull the yarn under the loops, and hook the thread again.
- Pull the thread through the new loop. Your first crochet stitch is ready!
- Repeat the needed number of times.
- Pull the inner threads to tighten the ring.

Assembly
To complete your crochet lavender gnome:
- Attach the arms to the body of your gnome.
- Mark the position where you want the nose and breasts and sew them onto the gnome.
- Sew the bra to the breasts.
- Cut strips of yarn double the desired length for the braid. For reference, mine were around 25 cm long, and I used 28 strands for each braid.
- Braid, knot, or secure with a ribbon, and trim the ends.
- Sew braids to the body.
- Sew small flowers to the hat and add beads if desired.
- Finally, sew the hat onto the head, ensuring it molds slightly around the nose. Ready!
