Materials:

Crochet Hook - I / 5. 50 MM

Yarn - Cotton or Acrylic (4)
16 oz. Plastic Cup or Jar (3 - 4 inches across top, 5 inches tall)
Yarn ball, about 2 inches for the bottom of the holder.


Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Slip Stitch (slst)
Single Crochet (sc)
Double Crochet (dc)
Skip (sk)

Size: 6 Inches across

Notes:
Ch1 Does not count as a st.
Ch3 Counts as dc
Rounds are joined with a slst
Pattern:

R: 1 - ch 2, 8 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook,

join with a sl st to 1st st, (8sc)

R: 2- Ch4 (counts as 1dc, ch1) *dc in the next st, ch1*

Repeat From *to* around, join to 3rd ch with a slst, (8dc, 8 ch1 sp =16sts)

R: 3 - Slst in the 1st ch1 sp, ch4, dc, ch1,
*1dc, ch1, 1dc in the next ch1 Space, ch 1*
Repeat from *to* around, join, (16 dc, 16 ch2 sp =32sts)

R: 4 - Slst in the 1st ch1 sp, ch4, dc, ch1,

*1dc, ch1, 1dc in the next ch1 Space, ch 1*
Repeat from *to* around, join, slst the next ch1 sp, ch3

R: 5 -Shell Sts - 2dc, ch1, in the 1st ch1 sp,slst in the next ch1
*3 dc in the next ch1 sp, slst in the next ch1*

Repeat from *to * around, join and tie off.

Tie: Ch 50 or more

Lace it through R: 4

Lay across the top of the cup, gather together, tie a knot, and bow.

I rolled up a ball of matching yarn, to have something

for the hooks to poke into, inside of the cup.
