Crochet Square Cushion Cover
You’ll need:
400g of grey Pelerino yarn (47% polyacryl, 33% polyamide, 20% wool; 28m/50g);
200g of the same yarn, but in white, beige colors (each);
Crochet hook 12;
3 buttons;
Square cushion 60 x 60 cm and 11 cm height.
Used Patterns
Main pattern: single crochets. Start every row with 1 chain st increase.
Stitches control: 5,5 sts x 10 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Make 33 chain sts with grey yarn and 11 rows of the main pattern. In 11 rows = 11 cm from the set-up row, divide sts in the following way: 20 rows of 11 sts with grey, beige and white yarn, 20 rows of 11 sts with white, grey and beige yarn, 20 rows of 11 sts with beige, white and grey yarn.
When changing the color of yarn, make the last st inside the row with new color and cross with next st of new color together on WS to prevent hole.
After finishing motif with squares, make 11 rows with grey yarn and then make 1 more motif with squares. After that, make 6 rows with grey yarn for outsize, make 3 button-holes in 3 rows. For this, skip 6th, 17th and 28th sts. For sides, fasten motifs with squares with 33 single crochets with grey yarn from both sides and make 5 rows of the main pattern. Makeseams. Sewbuttons. Insert the cushion.
