​Crochet Bottle Cover

You’ll need:

About 100g of mélange jeans yarn (100% wool; 35m/50g);

Crochethook 12;

Bottle;

1 needle with big eye.

Size: 40 cm diameter, 54 cm height.

Note: make fastening with half crochets around, starting from neck to down. Then, crochet base part. Start every circle row with 2 chain sts for the 1^st half crochet and finish with 1 slip st from the upper chain st.

Instructions

Make 16 chain sts and circle them in the ring with 1 slip st.

1^st row: 16 half crochets around;

2^nd row: 2 half crochets from every 2^nd half crochet (24 sts);

3^rd and 4^th rows: without increases;

5^th row: 3 half crochets from every 2^nd half crochet (32 sts);

6^th-7^th rows: without increases;

8^th row: 2 half crochets from every 4^th half crochet (40 sts);

9^th row: without increases;

10^th row: 2 half crochets from every 3^rd half crochet (53 sts);

11^th-19^th rows: without increases.

Put on the cover on the bottle and put your bottle in bucket neck down in order to make base. Starting from the 20^th row, start making decrease, for this, make 2 half crochets together all the time.

20^th row: make every 4^th and 5^th half crochets together (43 sts);

21^st and 22^nd rows: without decreases;

23^rd row: make every 4^th and 5^th half crochets tog (35 sts);

24^th row: make every 3^rd and 4^th half crochets tog (27 sts);

26^th row: make every 2^nd and 3^rd half crochets tog (18 sts);

27^th row: 2 half crochets tog (9 sts);

28^th row: make every 2 half crochets tog (5 sts).

Tight the last half crochets and sew.
