Row 1: Sc 1 in 2nd ch from hook, sc 1 in next and across to end of the row, turn (25 st)
Row 2: Ch 1, sc1 in 1st st from hook, Waistcoat st (insert hook between the “legs” of the stitch you can spot a V straight through to the other side and make a single crochet. Continue making waistcoat stitches (single crochets) going through the posts of the stitches from the previous row to the last st, sc (regular) 1 in last st, turn (25 st)
Row 3-9: Repeat row 2
Change color
Row 10+11: Ch 1, sc 1 in 1st st from hook, sc 1 in next and across to end of row, turn (25 st)
