How to Crochet a Bow

Making the Body of the Bow

  • Row 1: ch 82 sts
  • Row 2: in the 2nd ch from hook make a hdc, hdc in each st across.
  • Row 3: ch 2, turn, working in the BLO hdc in each st across.
  • Repeat row 3, 3 more times. Finish off and weave in the ends.

Making the Center of the Bow

  • Row 1: ch 14 sts
  • Row 2: in the 2nd ch from the hook, make a sc st, sc in each st across.
  • Row 3-4: ch 1, turn, sc in each st across.

Basic Shaping Techniques

To shape the bow, start first by laying it down flat, then place both ends across from each other. Pinch the center, and place the center piece around the center of the bow. Stitch the two ends together.

Once secured in place, insert the clip in the back of the bow, and you are finished. Enjoy!
